The list is divided into regions, and includes descriptions and testimonials from some of John s most notable suppliers along with some extremely fine wines unique to The Landau. Diners will be able to browse over 1,390 wines and Champagnes displayed in the wine corridor. The atmospherically lit vaulted corridor, paved in limestone and lined with exquisite glass-fronted wine cabinets, evokes the rarefied air of an oenological treasure trove - the wine cellar of a connoisseur. "The wine corridor feels like the cosy interior of a traditional St. James's wine merchant, and the idea was to create a list that makes really good reading, almost like a fine independent wine merchant's list. We wanted it to have plenty of substance - and a twist of humour as well," John explains.
