He has worked at Le Gavroche over the past five years. He completed his apprenticeship at the restaurant, and was given the opportunity to cook at Per Se in New York, before returning to Le Gavroche and then Roux at Parliament Square as Sous Chef. Michel Roux Jr says of the new Chef: "Chris King is a rising star, and his menus reflect the Roux trademark style of classically-constructed French dishes, blended with today's tastes for lighter choices. He has a modern approach to combining ingredients, and a contemporary style of presentation." Some classic British dishes, which are customer favourites, will also feature on the menu.
